Sonja joined Polk Insurance after 15 years in the energy industry and became agency owner in 2021. A fourth-generation San Luis Obispo local, Sonja is not only passionate about the community, but is deeply invested in it. She is active with multiple nonprofit organizations and has a heart for helping seniors as well as underserved women and children. As a SLO Leadership Class 30 alumni, she appreciates the value of close connections and insight into regional industries. Sonja works hard at being the leading Medicare specialist on the Central Coast and actively pursues innovative methods to meet client needs. Her focus is to provide extraordinary service and create personalized relationships with those we serve. In her spare time, Sonja enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her friends and family. She holds a license for Accident, Health & Life Insurance, as well as countless qualifications in Office Management, Compliance, Ethics, and many other subjects.
